A curdy white precipitate should be formed which should
be insoluble in nitric acid but soluble in dilute ammonia solution.

The filter paper strip should turn violet-red.

Solution should be Clear and Colourless

Acidity or Alkalinity
Not more than 0.5 ml of 0.01M hydrochloric acid or 0.01M
sodium hydroxide should be required.

Not more than 1ppm.

No turbidity should be produced within 2 hours.
